SUSSEX KIDNEY TRUST

The Sussex Kidney Trust was formed in 1967 by the Sussex Area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies and is run by dedicated and completely voluntary Committee, all the money donated going to the purchase of vital equipment for the Renal Units of the Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton, Worthing and Bexhill.

National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS)

Formed in 1959, the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies is an educational charity dedicated to the promotion of the artistic use of all types of plant material through the medium of its flower clubs. NAFAS comprises 21 Areas throughout the UK, each is autonomous with their own chairmen and committees.

World Association of Floral Artists (WAFA)

The World Association of Floral Artists (WAFA) was formed in 1981 with the aim of reinforcing the bonds of friendship between the various members,whilst providing a forum whereby members can exchange ideas and trends in flower arranging. NAFAS was a founder member and from the original 19 members, it now has 31. The first show was held in Bath in 1984 and the next, in 2023, will be in Auckland
